About Our Club

Welcome to the Mackay & District Radio Aeromodellers Society (MADRAMS). Located just 20km west of Mackay, our club brings together model aviation enthusiasts from across the region in a friendly, supportive environment.

Who We Are

We are a passionate community of approximately 40 active members sharing a love for radio-controlled aircraft. Our club is fully registered and affiliated with both the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA) and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

What We Fly

Our members fly a wide range of aircraft disciplines, including:

• Scale Models & Aerobatic Planes
• Warbirds & Gliders
• Helicopters, Drones & FPV (First Person View)
• Old-timers & Control Line Aircraft

Flying Days

Flying takes place almost every day of the week, with Saturday mornings and Sundays being our most popular field times.
